System requirements
We’ve slightly adjusted the system requirements for i-doit v1.16
:
- PHP: We recommend the use of PHP version branch
7.4
which is currently under active maintenance. We’ve dropped the support of PHP7.1
and set PHPv7.2.5
as the minimum required version. But keep in mind that PHP7.2
is end-of-live and therefore marked as deprecated. The support will be removed in i-doitv1.17
. - Note about PHP
8.0
: We’re working on supporting PHP8.0
in i-doit and still need some time to fix the remaining issues. Please don’t run i-doitv1.16
with PHP8.0
as we do not support it yet. - MariaDB: i-doit
v1.16
adds support for the current stable version branch10.5
of MariaDB. Version branch10.1
is marked as deprecated. The support for it will be removed in i-doitv1.17
. - We still support MySQL as the database backend for i-doit
v1.16
but recommend the use of MariaDB. We’ve marked version branch5.6
as deprecated and will drop the support in i-doitv1.17
. MySQL5.7
is currently the only supported version branch.
Note: Before you update i-doit to v1.16
please ensure all system requirements are met.
