Categories and attributes
i-doit provides over 200 predefined categories. The result is a wide range of over 1,000 attributes which theoretically can be documented for each object. This abundance inevitably leads to the frequently asked question "What is the purpose of category XY with all its attributes?" Which concepts represent each single category and each single attribute?
Flexibility versus specifications
The following table is an attempt to give you a general overview. It is an "attempt" because of the sheer bulk of predefined categories and attributes. There are no strict specifications for many categories and attributes. Therefore the following descriptions are only recommendations. We would appreciate additions and corrections and would be glad to receive information about how you use the following categories and attributes in practice. Please just send an e-mail to feedback@i-doit.com.
