Categories and attributes#
i-doit comes with over 200 predefined categories. This results in over 1000 attributes that can theoretically be documented per object. This abundance inevitably leads to the frequently asked question: "What is category XY with all its attributes intended for?" In other words, what concepts are behind each individual category and each individual attribute.
Flexibility vs. specifications
Using the following tables, we attempt to provide a general overview. "Attempt" due to the sheer volume of predefined categories and attributes. For many categories and attributes, there is no strict specification. Therefore, the following descriptions serve merely as recommendations. We would be very happy to receive additions and corrections about how the following categories and attributes are used in practice. An email to feedback@i-doit.com is sufficient.
